Series 1 - Box # 1 1978-1983 This series covers the beginnings of Congressman Walsh's career as a councilor on the Syracuse Common Council. Walsh notes a public hearing relative to granting consent to Hill & Mitchell, Inc ("The Bus Company") to operate a bus line between the Syracuse Hancock International Airport and the city of Syracuse. The Syracuse Common Council opposes further reduction of the amount of light on residential streets and requests the City and Niagara Mohawk to restore each affected street to its prior status.
