The Stations of the Cross
Above are the stations as they looked in the St. Francis Friary chapel.

bulletThis is the first of Fr. Joe's Stations of the Cross carvings.  Fr. Joe created 14 stations of the cross for the St. Francis friary chapel, though the second Station is now missing.  Fr. Roderick sent a letter the archives has in its collection that thanks Fr. Joe for a wonderful job on the stations, so one could assume the two were close at least through correspondence.
bullet Below is the third Station of the Cross.  One can clearly see a numbered cross at the bottom right of each work.   The small crosses were originally separate from the 12 x 14 inch carvings.
bulletStation one illustrates the condemnation of Christ by Pilate.
bulletStation two, missing from the Archive's collection, shows the imposition of the cross upon Christ.
bullet Station three represents the first fall of Christ.
