The garden pictured below, along with the sidewalk to the Richter Center, benches, landscaping and lighting along the sidewalk were donated to the University by Richter Investment Corporation in 2006. The company is owned by William L. Richter, a former St. Bonaventure University Board of Trustees member. The donation was made to further beautify the campus and to honor Dr. Robert J. Wickenheiser, 19th president of St. Bonaventure University. The plantings include a Blue Weeping Dwarf Spruce, Dwarf Red Barberry, Dwarf Gold Barberry, and Stella D'Oro Daylillies.
