St. Bonaventure has acquired many great works of art over the years.  Donations from private donors, such as the Hanley's, gifts from artists, and Alumni contributions have been the major sources for the St. Bonaventure Permanent Art Collection.

These pages include a sampling of the works donated by the Hanley's over the years.  Much of the Hanley Collection is on display in the galleries of the F. Donald Kenney Museum, at the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at Saint Bonaventure University.

The arrangement of the paintings displayed here reflects the Hanley Collection at its original home in Bradford, PA, where Degas, Lautrec, Goya, and Picasso often shared wall space with lesser known artists such as Ralph A. Blakelock, Francis Carpenter, Hugh Reinagle and Joseph Wright.  In other words, there is no particular pattern.
