As one enters the Doyle Chapel,
there is a smaller Chapel on the left side, this is a special chapel
(shrine) dedicated to Mary, Queen of the Order of Friars Minor. This mosaic, on the rear wall of this chapel,
depicts Mary seated
upon a throne and surrounded by Saints and Blessed of the Franciscan
Order. Each of the windows within the Shrine contains a scriptural
symbol of the privileges of Mary. |
