J.R. Bremer (2002-03 Topps Finest) 


This card features J.R. Bremer, and is from the 2002-2003 Topps Finest set, and is known as the Auto Gold Refractor, and has Bremer’s autograph on the lower half of the card. It is one of two J.R. Bremer cards graded by SGC and is the higher of the two. The card and autograph is graded at a 9.

This pair of cards is from J.R. Bremer’s rookie season with the Celtics, and is the only pair of J.R. Bremer cards from this 2002-03 Bowman Signature set that SGC has graded, and they gave the pair an identical score, with a 9 rating for the card and a 10 for the autographs.

Jack Butler (1957 Topps) 

This card is from the 1957 set of Topps football cards, and features Jack Butler. The card is split with the right half showing a portrait, while the left has an action shot of him receiving the ball, which is strange because he was a cornerback. The back of the card contains a few sentences detailing how the owner of the Steelers organization was happy to see Jack join the team, as he, and Jack’s father had played together. The card is one of 32 Jack Butler cards graded by SGC from this set, and is one of just six cards graded as high as an 8; there are no Jack Butler cards from this set that SGC has graded higher.

Hugh Jennings

This Hugh Jennings card is from the El Principe De Gales set produced for two years, from 1909-1911. There are three versions of Hugh Jennings card in this set; the card in this collection is known as the “Both Hands Showing”, and is one of just 13 existing cards. The card is graded at a SGC 5, one of just two cards graded at a 5, with only one card graded than the card in this collection. 




McGraw/Jennings (1912 T202 Hassan Cigarettes) 



This card is unique to the collection, as it features two Saint Bonaventure grads in the pros, both John McGraw and Hugh Jennings. This card is from a Hassan Cigarettes produced in 1912. These two player cards feature portraits of both players which flank a photo of the two shaking hands. The card in this collection is graded at a SGC 5 and is one of just 70 total existing cards. There are two other cards graded as a five, and 14 cards graded higher than it.
