The Executive Board of Student Activities Council consisted of four officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. The following is a description of the officers' duties and responsibilities. President: Shall call and reside at all meetings. He shall be responsible for the over-all operation of the Student Activities Council and in particular, for the proper functioning of the following committees: Social Entertainment, Publicity, Special Events, and Personnel. Vice President: Shall assume the duties and responsibilities of the President in his absence. He shall be aware of the entire operation of the Student Activities Council and in particular, he shall be responsible for the proper functioning of the following committees: Calendar, Cultural, Recreation, Tours. He shall be the Parliamentarian at all meetings of the Student Activities Council. Secretary: Shall be in charge of the Office, the supplies, the files and secretarial staff of the Student Activities Council. Shall arrange to have a secretary on duty each week-day afternoon from two to four o'clock. Shall keep an informational card on each member of the Council. Shall call for and file accurate financial and evaluation reports on each function of the Council. Shall insure that the proper reports on the major events are sent to the National Entertainment Council. Shall call for and file a semester evaluation of each member of the Council as prepared by the Chairmen of said member. Treasurer: Shall be responsible for all monies allocated to the Student Activities Council. Shall prepare a monthly report of the finances of the Council. Shall supervise a committee to handle the sale of tickets and the door receipts for each function of the Council. |
