Robert "Bob"Worthington worked for nearly 30 years at St. Bonaventure University. His carpentry and grounds keeping skills enhanced the St. Bona's experience. Bob died suddenly on his 67th birthday, April 9, 2019. The tree was planted on Arbor Day, April 26, 2019.
The Bob Worthington Memorial Tree is a Quercus robur, a Regal Prince Oak tree hybrid cross between Quercus robur fastigiata (Upright English Oak) and Quercus bicolor (Swamp White Oak). The foliage is green with silvery undersides and will grow to about 50' tall. The tree is located between
