Dr. Carr's Academic Works
Here are examples of academic papers written by Dr. Douglas Carr, then Assistant Professor of Mass Communication. One of these papers deals with the marketing techniques of Max Headroom, building on what he presented at the AEJMC Convention of 1987. The other deals with computers in the newsroom. The latter paper was rejected for publication, and may never have actually been published.
