Collins has been with Business First of Buffalo since the paper was started in 1984. She has held all editorial positions, including editor, for 15 years; she is now senior editor. Business First is part of the American City Business Journals chain of business papers. She and her husband, Bill ’76, are involved in numerous charities in the Buffalo area. They have four children: Elena, 23, Will, 19, Julia, 17, and Charlie, 10. Collins says that one of the best memories of winning the Hellinger was being at The Plaza with friends and family.
