What they are up to now- As of Fall 2010.

Sue Agos Quinn recently retired after 33 years with Erie County, N.Y., government. She started as an EEO investigator in 1977, then served as minority business enterprise coordinator, assistant personal specialist, personnel specialist, personnel supervisor for the Health Department, senior personnel specialist, and finally, chief of classification & compensation, overseeing all civil service matters for Erie County and its towns, villages, school districts and public authorities.

Throughout her career, the lessons she learned from Dr. Jandoli and George Evans were invaluable. “You learn to write by writing. The best writers are prolific. As soon as anyone heard I graduated from Bonaventure with a journalism degree, I became their “go-to” person for writing, editing and proofreading. I wrote letters, reports, policies and procedures, resolutions, brochures, presentations, exam announcements, PSAs, press releases, job specifications, job postings, ad infinitum. So, even though I never worked a day in the media, I never worked a day without drawing on my journalism education from SBU, ” she said.
