Summer Writing Internship Program
From June 30 to July 29, 1966, St. Bonaventure hosted a four-week scholarship writing program for twenty high school students interested in journalism. The program allowed high school students to sharpen their writing skills while working closely to members of the journalism field. Begun by Dr. Russell J. Jandoli and sponsored by the Newspaper Fund of Princeton, New Jersey, the program required the students to take weekly journalism courses while working on their own monthly supplement for the Olean Times Herald. During the four weeks, the students took classes with Dr. Jandoli, met with editors of the Buffalo Evening News, and took a tour of the Olean Times Herald.
From the New Jersey newspaper, students are working on a Summer Internship Program, 1964.
