The Bona Venture

One of the most well-known college newspapers in the region, The Bona Venture has won national awards, including the Pacemaker Award, "The Pulitzer Prize of college newspaper production" and presented annually to publications that stand out in terms of coverage, content, writing, editing, art, design, photography and graphics.

Traditionally staffed by journalism students, the paper was founded by Bonaventure graduate and teacher Irving Roger Bacon.
