"Once a Bonnie, Always a Bonnie."
If one goes to St. Bonaventure, he or she is bound to hear that phrase more than once. The university is renowned for its stellar relationship with its graduates. When it came to the Journalism Department, however, the relationship was more than just stellar. It was almost familial. Dr. Jandoli reached out to his former students, often personally, to see how they were doing and what they were up to. Beginning in the 1960s, the Department started hosting "department only" alumni gatherings.
