      =93chez=94) began his duties Jan. 18. He has been a security =
manager at=20
      Motorola Inc. (1997-2006) and Continental Automotive Systems =
(2006-2009),=20
      both located in Elma, for the past 13 years. He was also security =
manager=20
      at Westinghouse Electric Corp. in West Valley from =
1987-1997.</FONT></P>

      is exactly the right person to successfully lead our Office of =

      professor of counselor education in St. Bonaventure University=92s =

      Education, has published two new books. These will be her fourth =
and fifth=20
      published books.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">=93Cyber =
Bullying,=20
      Cyber Kids, Cyber Balance=94 was published by Corwin Press and =
released on=20
      Dec. 8, 2009. The book=92s goal is to educate readers on the =
causes of cyber=20
      bullying and how to prevent such bullying from happening, said =
Trolley.=20
      Another crucial focus of the book is prevention by establishing=20
      cyberbalance within families and schools.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Trolley =
believes=20
      cyber bullying is a problem that has recently received more =
attention even=20
      though it has been around for a while. A message of this book is =
to assist=20
      people to employ more assessment and therapeutic methods when =
dealing with=20
      cyber bullies, and not just hand out harsh punishments that =
don=92t address=20
      the reasoning behind the action, she said.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Enjoying =
cyberspace=20
      is a privilege that most teens mistake as a right, Trolley said. =
She knows=20
      it is not uncommon for children and teenagers to know more than =
their=20
      parents when it comes to new technologies, but it is possible for =
them to=20
      teach each other.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">She does =
not believe=20
      technology is bad; the concern is how much people tend to use and =
abuse=20
      it, Trolley said.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Trolley =
emphasized=20
      the importance of the balance of time both in and out of =
cyberspace. She=20
      hopes that after reading her book people will not only be educated =
in the=20
      appropriate action when handling cyber bullies, but how to prevent =

      occurrences from happening in the first place.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Her second =
new book=20
      is titled =93Browser the Mouse and his Internet Adventure.=94 This =
book is=20
      being published by Youthlight and is set to be released in January =

      2010.</FONT></P>

      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">This might =
be a=20
      different genre of book from Trolley=92s previous works, but the =
motives=20
      remain the same: education. It=92s a book for young children and =
she hopes=20
      they will learn about the importance of balancing the use of the=20
      Internet.</FONT></P>
      <P></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Trolley =
believes new=20
      technologies may be hindering children=92s social growth and =
family=20
      interaction. After reading the book, she hopes parents and their =
children=20
      alike will recognize the importance of time spent on and off the=20
      Internet.</FONT></P>

comes with=20
      activities and discussion questions for children, parents and=20
      teachers.</FONT></P>

      Trolley the opportunity to work with SBU alumnae Connie Hanel and =
Linda=20
      Shield again. The three have teamed up before to write books on =
the topic=20

Austrian-born=20
      Morath, a gifted writer, discovered her talents as a photographer =

      by accident. In 1949, she joined the newly founded Magnum Photos =

      editor and became fascinated with the art of photography. She =
began=20
      photographing independently in London in 1951 and was asked to =
join Magnum=20
      as a photographer in 1953. She would stay with the agency for 50=20
      years.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>Morath =
traveled=20
      extensively for Magnum, covering assignments in Europe, the Middle =
East,=20
      Africa, the United States and South America. She also worked as a =
still=20
      photographer on numerous motion picture sets and her portraits of =
Marilyn=20
      Monroe, although not in this exhibition, are among the most =
graceful=20
      images of the late actress.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>Morath =
married=20
      American playwright Arthur Miller in 1964 and they settled in New =
York and=20
      Connecticut. Most of the photographs in the Quick Center=92s =
exhibition were=20
      taken by Morath in the small Connecticut town where they raised a =
family=20
      in the 1960s and 1970s.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>Some of =
Morath=92s=20
      greatest achievements are in portraiture, including celebrities =
and=20
      anonymous people. She continued to travel and publish photographic =
essays=20
      until her death in 2002 at the age of 79. She was considered a =
visual=20
      anthropologist and documented subjects ranging from politics and =
religion=20
      to work and business.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>Morath =
devoted=20
      much of her energy to encouraging women photographers. The Inge =
Morath=20
      Foundation, established in 2003 to facilitate the study and =
appreciation=20
      of Morath=92s contribution to photography, annually presents the =
Inge Morath=20
      Award to a female documentary photographer or photojournalist =
under the=20
      age of 30.</FONT></P>
