      universities around the nation celebrating International Education =

      next week, Nov. 15-20.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>Former =
President=20
      Bill Clinton inaugurated the first International Education Week in =
2000 to=20
      be celebrated the third week in November. The focus of events =
worldwide=20
      and on U.S. campuses during this week will be to highlight =
international=20
      education at U.S. colleges and universities, both in the arena of=20
      international students pursuing academic programs in America and =
overseas=20
      academic opportunities for American students to study =
abroad.</FONT></P>
      <P><FONT face=3D"Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><BR>This =

      events at St. Bonaventure will highlight several accomplishments =
the=20
      university has realized this past year, including a new study =
abroad=20
      option for students at Queen=92s University, Belfast, Northern =
Ireland,=20
      through linkages made by St. Bonaventure's Father Mychal Judge =
Center. The=20
      University also welcomed 19 new international students this year,=20
      including the first Northern Ireland exchange student through a =
new=20
      institutional agreement with the British Council.</FONT></P>

annual study=20
      abroad fair is planned for Nov. 17 and 18. Traditionally, study =
abroad=20
      alumni staff tables in the Reilly Center lobby and share their =
overseas=20
      experiences with students. This has become a major focal point for =

      students to have an opportunity to see the numbers of overseas =
academic=20
      programs available. SBU students now have access to more than 60 =
approved=20
      sites for short-term and semester study overseas.</FONT></P>

      recipients will be announced for spring 2010 programs during the =

      Nov. 16: two Bond University, Australia, tuition awards will be =

      for SBU overseas academic programs next semester, along with a =

      scholarship for the SBU program in Seville, Spain. Several =
students have=20
      also applied for the Benjamin Gilman Scholarship, federal grants=20
      designated for semester study abroad.</FONT></P>

      students who have or will study abroad will be offered in =
