2014 Hellinger Award Winner- Madison Thieman

The 54th annual Mark Hellinger Award was presented to Madison Thieman. She worked for Kwerkworks, The Intrepid, the parent newsletter, SBU-TV, the Teaching and Learning Center, the campus chapter of the American Advertising Federation, and the admissions office as a Student Ambassador. Thieman interned with a number of offices and instituions, including the First Year Experience office and the Office of Marketing and Communications on campus and the Marietta (Ohio) Times, Dream Magazine and Inspired PR off of it.

Thieman joined The Quilted Squirrel, an advertising agency based in Western New York, as an account executive after she graduated.
