2013 Hellinger Award Winner- Madeleine Gionet

Madeleine (Maddie) Gionet made Bonaventure history when she became the first individual to be awarded both the Hellinger and the Dr. Mary A. Hamilton Woman of Promise Award.

Co-directing the Writing Lab at the Teaching and Learning Center, serving as co-editor of The Intrepid and holding the position of secretary and account executive of the campus chapter of the American Advertising Federation all contributed to Gionet's impressive list of accomplishments as an undergraduate. She was also a coordinator for the Mountain Community Leaders of Mt. Irenaeus and leader of the Peer Coach program. Gionet stayed on campus after her undergraduate years to earn a graduate degree in Integrated Marketing and Communications.

The ceremony took place at the Holiday Valley Lodge in Ellicottville.
