2011 Hellinger Award Winner- Kristy Kibler

Kristy Kibler, who minored in French while an undergraduate, was the recipient of the 51st annual Hellinger Award. She served as editor-in-chief of The Bona Venture and The Communicator, worked at WSBU-FM The Buzz, and was a contributor to The Arm, a creative writing group on campus. She was a member of Kappa Tau Alpha and Pi Delta Phi, the national French honor society. Kibler served internships with the Fort Knox Public Affairs Office and The Buffalo News and found a job with The Country Courier in Warsaw, New York as a news editor after she graduated. Kibler originally hailed from Varysburg, New York.
