1997 Hellinger Award Winner- Michele Passalugo
Michele Passalugo, originally from Cortland, New York, was given the Mark Hellinger Award in 1997. A magna cum laude graduate, she served in a number of managment roles at The Bona Venture and was a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma and Kappa Tao Alpha as well as the Society of Professional Journalists.
Off campus, Passalugo was a community relations intern for the American Lung Association, helping to organize brochures and articles for the organization.
After graduating from St. Bonaventure, Passalugo became a publications coordinator for the Motor and Equipment Manufacturer's Association.
