Armstrong Circle Theatre (Drama anthology). 1950, June 6-1963, August 28. 30 min., then 1 hour.

NBC 1950-1957, then CBS which broadcast it on Wednesdays 10:00-11:00 p.m.

Edwards was host/narrator from1957 (when it first came over to CBS) to 1961.

The show had 7 other hosts, the last for NBC being John Cameron Swayze. 

CBS Afternoon News with Douglas Edwards.  1962, April-1968, February.  5 min.

CBS Mid-Day News with Douglas Edwards.  1968, February-              .  5 min.

CBS Television News.  1946-8.  Saturday evening.  

CBS Evening News.  1948, May-1955, September.  Weekdays.  7:30-7:45 p.m.  1955, September-1963, August.  Weekdays.  7:15-7:30. Became 30 min. long in September 1963 & continues to this day. 

Edwards anchored from the start until April 1962. Was called: Douglas Edwards with the News.

Celebrity Time (Quiz show).  On CBS January 1949-March 1949  Sunday  8:30-9:00 p.m. hosted by Edwards(?)

The show switched to ABC, then back to CBS ending in September 1952. Started off November 1948 on NBC under the title: The Eyes Have It. Had a number of different hosts.  

F.Y.I. [For Your Information] (Public affairs)  1960, January 3-May 29 on Sunday morning 11:00-11:30 a..m., June 5-September 25 on Sunday night  6:00-6:30 p.m.  30 min.

Hosted by Edwards. 

For Our Times.  Sunday morning.

Masquerade Party (Quiz show).  1952, July 14-1960, September 16.  30 min.

The show switched often between all 3 networks with gaps in the broadcast schedule. Edwards was the host in 1953 when the show moved over from NBC. It ran on CBS with Edwards as host from June to September on Mondays 9:30-10:00 p.m. 

Mid-Day News. 12:25 p.m.

Newsbreak.

Visions and Values. 1979, April 8-???  Sundays 10:30-11:00.

A CBS News religious series that explored current social issues from an ethical, moral and religious perspective.

Youth Takes a Stand (Panel discussion).  1953, August-September.  Tuesdays  10:30-11:00 a.m.  Then Sunday afternoons ending March 1955.

Edwards was one of a number of changing reporters with whom a panel of young people carried on a discussion.
