History 419: Digital History and Archives classes are working to create a map of St. Bonaventure Cemetery identifying gravesites for people associated with St. Bonaventure University. The students use archival and published records to provide biographical background for the deceased. This Google Map is the home for project. The pins represent the people covered so far in the project. The pop-up fields include basic biographical information about the individual burials. They may link to web pages on the SBU Archives' site, to other Google maps for individuals or to WordPress sites with additional biographical material. For an alphabetic list of burials included in the project, visit this page. There are links to individual Google maps and web pages devoted to some individuals and a complete list of all the burial sites we've processed to date. |
